West Houston FEMA Disaster Recovery Center Open This Week

September 18, 2017

Dear Neighbors,

I am happy to report that the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) will be opening a Disaster Recovery Center (DRC) in the heart of West Houston this week. The new DRC will be located at St. John Vianney Church and should be open by Tuesday at the latest. Typically, DRCs are open 7:00 A.M. to 7:00 P.M. seven days a week.

Use the DRC Locator to find additional Disaster Recovery Centers in the Greater Houston area. Disaster survivors can visit any of the centers for assistance.

The DRC at St. John Vianney Church will serve those affected by Hurricane Harvey in West Houston as we continue the rebuilding and recovery process. This was made possible by a collaborative effort by federal, state, county and city officials to better serve those hardest hit by Hurricane Harvey and the flooding that followed.

Below is some additional information I hope you will find helpful. You can also visit www.disasterassistance.gov to learn more from FEMA.

Sincerely,

Dwayne Bohac
