Bohac Announces Honorary Pages for 83rd Session

Representative Dwayne Bohac, District 138, is pleased to announce the names of the students who will be serving as Honorary Pages at the Texas State Capitol in Austin. The pages will accompany the full time House pages to interface with Representatives and staff on the House floor and in the Capitol. They will also receive an official badge and photo with the Representative to keep as a remembrance of their special day.

This year, in order for all students to have the same opportunity, Bohac invited students to apply for the opportunity to serve as pages and enjoy this memorable experience. Nine participants were selected from the applications based on age, location in District, and school attending; thereby giving a more diverse representation of the entire district.

The names and schools of those who will be participating in the Honorary Page Program are:

  • Nico Costanzo, Langham Creek High School
  • Cassie Haribson, Clay Road Baptist School
  • Caleb Howell, Spring Oaks Jr. High
  • Weston Howell, Spring Shadows Elementary
  • Anya Khan, Home School
  • Alaina Mancuso, Westchester International Academy
  • Kara Ratlief, St. Cecilia Catholic School
  • Stewart Singleton, Cornerstone Academy
  • Tanner Wells, Cy-Fair High School

“I have been involved in public service from an early age, beginning in high school, when I had the opportunity serve as a winter intern in Congressman Bill Archer's Washington, D.C. office.  It’s that experience that led me to public service.  My intent is to provide a similar experience to the young people of my district.”

"We are happy to sponsor students from District 138 as we launch this inaugural program and we look forward to having them represent our district at the Capitol", Bohac commented.
