Bohac Endorsed By Texas Right to Life

HOUSTON, TX-- State Representative Dwayne Bohac (R-Houston) is honored to announce the endorsement of his 2016 re-election campaign by Texas Right to Life.  The endorsement was earned through a rigorous PAC vetting process and based on a Pro-Life voting record during the 84th Legislative Session.

Texas Right to Life is the oldest, largest and only statewide Pro-Life organization in Texas.  They are the Texas affiliate of the National Right to Life Committee with representation on their board of directors.

"Since first being elected, Representative Dwayne Bohac has built a solid track record of protecting the sanctity of human life.  He co-authors all the major Pro-Life bills and works passionately to ensure passage.  In 2011, Representative Bohac played a key role in removing funds from the abortion industry and reallocating those funds to health care programs that serve a broader population," said Texas Right to Life Political Director Emily Kebodeaux.  "Texas Right to Life proudly endorses Representative Bohac!"

"It is truly an honor to be recognized by such an important organization," Rep. Bohac said.  "The work that Texas Right to Life does on behalf of Life issues is mission critical in the public policy arena.  I am proud to stand behind my Pro-Life record and am very grateful for the faithful support of Texas Right to Life.  I look forward to continuing our work together in the Texas House."

On November 4, 2014, Representative Dwayne Bohac was re-elected to represent House District 138. He is a lifelong District 138 resident.  For his work in previous legislative sessions, he has  also been recognized as a "Defender of Life" and for his "Perfectly Pro-Life" record by the organization.
