I have teamed up with State Senator Robert Nichols (R-Jacksonville) to launch MerryChristmasBill.com to build public support for the "Merry Christmas Bill" currently under consideration by the Texas Legislature.
The "Merry Christmas Bill" not only gives students, parents and educators the right to use the phrases "Merry Christmas" and "Happy Hanukkah", but also gives the right to display various symbols associated with those holidays, including Menorahs, Christmas trees and Nativity scenes.
The bill has gained widespread support across the state and country and was even profiled on FOX & Friends - the #1 morning show on national cable news.
Show your support by signing the Merry Christmas Bill Petition, and if you like, share your own “Tales of Christmas Past” if you or one of your children have been discouraged from acknowledging Christmas or Hanukkah on a public school campus.
We want to hear your story.
Your personal information will not be shared with anyone but your name will be used to help pass HB 308 and SB 665 in the Texas Legislature.
Please join our effort by signing the petition in support of these bills and sharing your “Tales of Christmas Past”. With your help, we may all have more hopeful “Tales of Christmas Yet to Come”.
