REMINDER: Addicks Reservoir Watershed Community Engagement Meeting on HCFCD Bond Program is This Thursday

The Harris County Commissioners Court plans to call a flood control district bond election for August 25, 2018—the one-year anniversary of Hurricane Harvey. Registered voters in Harris County will be asked to vote on $2.5 billion in bonds for flood risk reduction projects throughout the county.

Community Engagement Meetings are now being scheduled for each watershed and the Addicks Reservoir meeting is this Thursday, June 21st. As more meetings are scheduled, they will be announced on the Harris County Flood Control Department's website. We will also keep you updated here on Bohac.com.
