Brittmoore Road Improvements on the Horizon

Roadway enhancements will improve traffic flow and flooding issues

State Representative Dwayne Bohac (R-Houston) is proud to announce a joint special project between TxDOT and the City of Houston that will bring overdue changes to Brittmoore Road between Clay Road and I-10. The project will widen Brittmoore to a four-lane divided roadway and will include the installation of a curb and gutter system with storm sewers. The existing surface is a two-lane roadway with open ditches. The new storm sewer system will significantly improve roadway drainage and will be augmented by a detention pond, solving chronic flood issues which have plagued the area during heavy rains.
